A longer waterline and streamlined hull give the Pike its speed. The narrower hull cuts water resistance so you paddle farther with less effort. Don't let the narrow hull fool you on comfort: the Pike is fitted with a raised brick-shape seat cushion that lifts you above the tubes, so you sit on the boat rather than wedged down inside it. Plenty of room, plenty of glide.
Three fin attachment points are the Pike's secret. Most packrafts wander — they're short, round, and built to turn, which means you spend energy correcting your line on every stroke. The Pike runs three detachable fins: one at the stern and one midway under each tube. That three-point layout grips the water across the whole length of the hull instead of just the back, and the result is tracking unlike anything else on the water. Set up with all three, the Pike holds a line so true that we'll say it plainly: in flatwater and open ocean, there is no packraft on the market that tracks better. You point it where you want to go and it stays there. Pull a fin for tighter, more responsive handling — the choice is yours.
A TiZip waterproof zipper opens into the hull for internal dry storage, making the Pike as capable on multi-day expeditions as it is on an afternoon paddle. Pack your gear inside the tubes, seal it up, and go.
